Chicken Breast W/Cardamom And Dill Yogurt Sauce

Nice marinade for chicken reminiscent of an Indian or Arabic chicken marinade.  This chicken can be grilled as well.  Tanginess and subtle Middle Eastern spices make this succulent chicken dish a winner over rice or cous cous. 


6 Chicken Breasts – Boneless skinless

1 Cup Plain Yogurt

1 tbsp Dry or Fresh Dill leaves chopped

1tsp Cardamom Powder

1 tsp Kosher Salt

1 tsp Crushed Black Pepper

1 tsp Chili powder


Mix Yogurt and Spices in a large glass bowl.

Place in Refirgerator for 1/2 hour for flavors to develop

Place trimmed Chicken Breasts in marinade

Refrigerate for 2 hours

Bake in baking dish for 35-40 minutes at 400 degrees.

Check temperature of chicken by inserting a thermometer till it reads 155 degrees internal temperature.

Serve Hot.
